Short Sleeves ~ Both Alike
Put the 30sts, left on a stitch holder, back on to a knitting needle. Rejoin yarn.

Row 3          K1, *yo, s1, k1, psso, repeat from * to last st, yo, k1                31sts
Row 4          S1, purl to last st, k1
Row 5          S1, knit to end     
Row 6          S1, purl to last st, k1
Knit 5 rows
Cast off
Make the second sleeve in the same way
Sew up sleeve seams. Gather together underarms
Darn away ends
Sew on buttons

Long Sleeves ~ Both Alike
Put the 30sts, left on a stitch holder, back on to a knitting needle. Rejoin yarn.
With right side facing –
Row 1          Knit into front & back of first st,  knit to last st,  knit into front & back of last st
Row 2          S1, purl to last st, k1
Row 3          S1, knit to end of row
Row 4          S1, purl to last st, k1
Repeat last two rows until 4” (10cm) have been worked from armhole, ending after completing a wrong side row
With right side facing –
Knit 5 rows
Cast off
Make the second sleeve in the same way
Sew up sleeve seams. Gather together underarms
Darn away ends
Sew on buttons

Using 4mm needles& DK yarn, cast on 64sts

Repeat the last 2 rows once more

12th Row:     S1, purl to last st, k1
Repeat the last 2 rows four times more **

33rd Row:     S1, yo, *s1, k1, psso, yo, repeat from * to last 3sts, s1, k1, psso, k1
34th Row:     S1, purl to last st, k1
35th Row:     S1, knit to end of row
36th Row:     S1, purl to last st, kfb                                           65sts




Shape the top ~
1st Row:  (K6, k2 tog) repeat to last st, k1                                57sts
2nd, 4th ,6th ,8th, 10th  Rows:  S1, purl to last st, k1

3rd Row:  (K5, k2tog) repeat to last st, k1                                49sts
5th Row:  (K4, k2tog) repeat to last st, k1                                41sts

Cut yarn (leaving a long ‘tail’ to use for sewing up), draw the end through all stitches, pull up tightly.
Sew up the seam.  Darn away ends.
