  8. I don't know what DK weight yarn is. In the US would this be a baby sport yarn?

    1. Hello Jeannie Murphy - DK is a UK yarn weight. It is the same as US ~3 light worsted yarn - the important thing is that it knits to a gauge of 21 - 24sts = 4" over stocking (stockinette) stitch
      Happy Knitting.........

  10. I made this for my first cousin's grandbaby (due August 2015). I modified the pattern to be "no sew" (worked in the round). I put my modification up on my knitting blog, but was sure to link and give you all the credit for such a lovely pattern.

  11. Do you design diaper covers in different sizes, using DK yarn, to match your wonderful sweaters and dresses? I have tried, but can't make it work. Thank you for any help.

  14. I can't wait to start, it is so sweet. On lines 3 and 17, the second stitch reads either "yrn (YRN)" or "ym (YM" Which one is it and what does it mean? Thanks, Billie

  18. hi,
I just started knittiin the little dress but in yarn from my own stock! It's baby merino 100% wool, it's 50 grammes (1.76 oz) aoor 175 m (191 yds) I''m using needle no. 3. I just wonder how many cm/inches does the armholes have to be? (height) untill round no, 26.. I don't know what is dk-weight, we don't use these names in Denmark!

    1. HI..I was noticing that you were in the same boat as me...needing a nine month old pattern...I was just looking at the lilac blossom dress and that has directions for 9 months...the yolk part is the same as this dress, just the bottom half is different.im going to try to adjust that with this bottom. Let's see what happens 😀

  20. Absolutely love your designs! I've made four cardigans so far! I wanted to try this dress for a little 9 month old girl. I'm horrible at adjusting sizes and don't quite understand gauging. Do you have any plans in making larger sizes for this dress?
