Moiselle chunky yarn sleeveless baby vest top

I have had some Wendy Moiselle yarn in my stash for a long, long time now.
It's so pretty - but for some reason - I have just not found the perfect project for it.
When I bought it I intended to make something for myself - but that never happened.
These days I mostly make and donate to charities. So I decided to use it for a baby top or two......

Any chunky yarn could be used for this design.
Tension:  16sts = 4" (10cm)

I knitted the ribs in a contrast colour

Continue without shaping until armholes measure 13cm ( 5” ) finishing after a purl row.

Rejoin yarn to remaining 10sts and knit to end.
